Property Description

Spacious semi-detached 2 bedroom villa set in landscaped gardens with communal swimming pool (shared with south east villa next door). The spacious lounge is well furnished and includes, satellite television, stereo radio/cassette/cd player, double bed settee and a wood burning stove for use during the winter. The kitchen/dining area is well equipped and the dining table has seating for 6. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. The master bedroom has an en suite bath/shower room and there is also a separate family shower room with wc. outside is a sunny patio area with stone steps leading to a private roof terrace with views towards the monchique mountains. More steps lead down throught the pretty gardens to the attractive shared pool and a sun bathing area. A shared laundry room with washing machines and drying area are available. There is plenty of open parking space which also has 4 covered carports. the adjoining property south east villa is also available to rent.

Quinta do alamo is on the outskirts of the village of bensafrim which has a number of small shops including: a pharmacy, mini-market, fish market, bakery, butcher and a typical portuguese restaurant serving regional dishes. The village is located at the end of the newly extended ip1 highway (a22) which provides excellent road links to faro airport (approx. 1 hour) and the rest of the algarve. There is a choice of superb beaches at the popular resort of lagos (just 15 minutes drive), including meia praia, a vast strip of sand to the east, and the more secluded praia do pinhão to the south. The deserted west coast beaches are also within easy reach and are well known as a surfer’s paradise.The modern marina at lagos is a popular place to view boats of all shapes and sizes and boat trips can be booked here. This historic town has retained much of its character and has a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars. For guests who prefer to do their daily shopping at a supermarket, there are two leading stores in lagos, intermarche and pingo doce, both providing a comprehensive range of goods including many familiar brand names. Lagos zoo is only a few minutes drive away between bensafrim and the nearby village of bãrao de são joão. The villa is ideally situated for golfing holidays as there are a number of golf courses within 30 minutes drive including: parque da floresta, penina, alto, palmares and boavista.
