Our charming accommodations in tuscany comprise 5 luxury double rooms for bed and breakfast plus 2 self-catering apartments. The facilities of casa portagioia have been created to a very high standard for your comfort and enjoyment. Your vacation to tuscany will be all the more memorable having sampled the delights of casa portagioia (port-a joy-a the gate to tranquility. outside the gardens and fields beyond have been landscaped and planted to delight the eye. A whole field of yellow sunflowers will delight guests arriving in late june or early july and the artfully curved drive is flanked with cyprus trees and accented with topiary oak trees.

Area Information

The main town is castiglion fiorentino, a medieval town with etruscan heritage. From here you can visit cortona and arezzo which are about 15 minutes away or, within an hours drive you are able to visit many tuscan and ubrian towns such as florence, siena, assisi, the chianti region, montepulciano - to name but a few. Or why not simply unwind and relax by our heated 14 meter pool with spectacular views of our beautiful valley. There is also a train station at castiglion with trains to rome and florence - although faster express trains are available from arezzo
