Area Information

Pitsinades is a small medieval village at the center of kythera near the village aroniadika. It is situated on a hill across the monastery of saint theodoros, who is considered the patron saint of the island's old capital, paleochora. The village is about 5km away from potamos, the nearest big village and less than 1km from aroniadika. Τhe settlement is traditional with all the streets paved with slabs. The only asphalt roadways are those that connect the settlement with the village aroniadika and with the monastery of saint theodoros.
