Residence 'liro' is located in a gulf on the west coast of como lake in the small village gravedona, which has a picturesque centre with old churches and narrow streets, a nice boulevard with a harbour for sailing and small motorboats and a long gravel beach at the estuary of the mountain stream liro. The lakeside is at 500m, restaurants, supermarket and shops at 400m. Residence liro is a new building, a two-storey block of 8 apartments. the apartments, about (100 m²) are divided over two floors.On the first floor,is the living room with a double sofa bed, sat tv, kitchen corner with fridge/freezer, four burners, oven and dishwasher. bathroom with shower and washing machine. large balcony with table and chairs on the south side and a small balcony on the kitchen side overlooking the small mountain stream liro, (which in springtime may be quite noisy from the melted snow in the mountains). on the upper floor (roof floor) are one double bedroom and one twin bedded room open, bathroom with bath. The apartments are furnished in an accurate and charming way.

There are numerous areas dedicated to sport and to nature-tourism such as the communal lido with its two swimming pools, a sports centre with tennis courts, a football ground and running-track. There are various cycling tracks, a green zone for walks and an exercise-trail. There are windsurf, sailing, and water-ski schools in domaso, which (2 km) away. On the pian di spagna (10 km) there is a horse-riding centre.In menaggio (15km) there is an 18-hole course founded in 1907. This is the oldest golf course in italy. Lanzo golf course (30km) has 9 holes in val d'intelvi up in the hills at 600m altitude. There is also a course in lugano 40km, & in como 46kmfamous winter sport resorts such as st. Moritz, madesimo and bormio are at 90 min. Car-distance. In two hours visitor can reach the gotthard mountain region, splugen or san bernardino locals tend to go on a day-outing for skiing and hiking, for lovely walks in the snow and sledding, in the valleys behind gravedona..
