The casa da capelinha is located in the village of ponta delgada in the north coast of the island, 1hour drive from the airport, and only 200 metres from the ocean and enjoys a peaceful and tranquil setting with an impressive mountain backdrop. in the xvii ponta delgada was the chosen centre for the aristocracy and the landlords. named after the 18th century chapel, which adjoins the property. the house is stone built on 1 floor, completely refurbished 4 years ago, consists of 4 one-bedroom apartments. each apartment takes up to 4 people (there is a double sofa bed in the living room). two apartments can interconnect and are able to accommodate a maximum of 6 people. All apartments have twin bedded rooms, with a separate living/dining area with television and fully equipped kitchen including those essential modern conveniences such as microwaves and kettles. To the front of the house is a small lawn with barbecue and antique winepress. bank, pharmacy, and mini market can be found within 5 minutes walking distance. This is a comfortable accommodation set in peaceful surroundings only 2 minutes walk from the closest shops and 5 minutes drive from the coastal area of s.Vicente, with various typical fish restaurants, bazaars, petrol station etc.
