You dont have problems with the bleating of goats in the hills arround,the chirping of crickets in summer time in all trees,you are looking for quietness,typical simple cretan life,than you will have your holiday domicil,that’s all the noise here in the village.A normal cretan house,simple,on the top of a hill in the small village,overlooking a green gorge with abandonend houses out of venezian times.A 83 m/2 house in a garden, with 2 bedrooms,living room,full equipped kitchen,bathroom with tube + washing maschine,heating system and outside a large terrace under the wine leaves,all for up to 6 guests.Some taverns,simple,typical you find in the both villages, in 2 – 3 km distance.The surrounding is only nature,hills,mountains,the sandy beach is 8 km away,next town 10 km,shopping,taverns,baker,supermarkets,petrol station in the beach area. central position near the town of rethymnon for trips on your own,but living in a village.A car is necessary and winter holidays are possible. The picturesque town of rethymno, is the capital town of the province of the same name. This province extends from the white mountains (lefka ori) to the idi mountains through to the borders of the provinces of chania and heraklion. Rethymno is positioned on the north coast of crete, 80 km west from heraklion, and 75 km east of chania, where the two airports of crete are to be found, about an hour’s drive away by car. Rethymno harbour has a direct ferry connection with the mainland of greece.
