Centrally located in the dordogne in hautefort, only 2 km from the dramatic chateau, it is a great bicycling and walking area with rolling hillsides and lovely forest and valley views. All services are within walking distance: 1 km to boulangerie, grocery store, tabac, and bank. 2 km to newsagent, post office, and the office of tourism. 2km to a swimming lake. Relax and enjoy the beautiful valley views from the pool, jacuzzi, or sundeck. The property offers: ping-pong, volleyball/badminton, children's play area with raised fort and swings. Many games and play items. The perigord is famous for it's food, of black truffles, canard, pate de foie gras, cepes, and walnuts, with many good restaurants in the area.
