Property Description

The cottage sleeps four on two levels :- on the ground floor there is an entrance hall leading to a twin-bedded room which has an en-suite shower room with wc and hand basin. The bedroom door leads directly onto the garden. from the entrance hall a staircase leads to the upper floor where there is a separate bathroom, washbasin & wc, a double bedroom, and a spacious lounge and large well-equipped kitchen/dining-room. the kitchen door opens onto a south-facing veranda covered in honeysuckle and wisteria which provides shade for the terrace for those late lazy breakfasts, lunches or evening bbq’s. A few stone steps lead down from the terrace to the garden which again offers a shaded pergola, fruit trees and total privacy the cottage is 2 kms from the village of pomport, and 4 kms from sigoules, which is a traditional french village providing a focal point for the surrounding hamlets. It offers a variety of shops, including supermarket, butcher, bakery, newsagents, petrol station, garage, chemist & doctors. if you are looking for a peaceful holiday , a place to relax, a place to get away from it all, but also a place with easy access to vine yards, lakes, medieval towns then la fonestalve could be the holiday for you.
