The lake trasimeno is the largest lake of central italy .Along its shores there are fishermen's villages , old manors,small ports, beaches ,golf courses.2 wonderful islands are frequently connected to the dry land by ferryboats.Tuscany and umbria , with art centres such as siena,cortona,assisi,montepulciano,perugia,spoleto,orvieto,sangimignano and the "chianti"zone, leave to the tourist the embarressement of the choise .Roma and florence are two hours away ,either by train or by car .
